pounds of rocks

Okay....so APPARENTLY I was a bit confusing when I talked about picking up POUNDS of ROCKS. I did not, in fact, PURCHASE rocks.....I picked them up with my own two little hands and plunked them in my pockets....I guess you could say I STOLE them!!!!
When attempting to express the AMOUNT of rockage which we each pocketed, I was expressing their amount in 'merican weight measurment....so, we each have about 8 pounds (as opposed to £8) of rocks.
Another absolutely FABULOUS day here....I have shorts and flip flops on! And I walked barefoot on the beach, where I STOLE several sea shells....and some made by snails, I think...maybe they're NAUTICAL snails? I don't know....but I DO know that the beer here is really good....but now we're about to have "cream tea:" a highly respectable mid-afternoon snack. Gotta go! mary out.

Man. I certainly like checking in on you, Mary, and I guess I don't mind posting either. Trouble is, it seems, that I forgot to ever pick up a sweet little nickname from you. God's light certainly shines brighter on the likes of "K-Joys" and "Ju Ju Bees" than it does on us, boring "Mikes".

Perhaps, however, in the theme of "Ju JuBee", (a great theatre candy if ever there was one,...and there was!), I could try something like "MikenIkey" after Mike & Ike's, (which are pretty tasty too). Or maybe "SnowCap".

If, on the other hand, I tried to follow in the line of K-Joy, (Presumably one takes the first initial of one's first name and then adds an emotion or emotional state that describes oneself), I think I become, pretty easily, "M-Ennui", (which has the added benefit of sliding off the tougue pretty easily).

I dunno. You tell me, Mary. My mom always called me "Loser". My kid's call me "Poser", and people from Canada, (who I don't generally trust), call me "Hoser". I guess those all fit but, at the same time, I always admired Carmine Ragucci from "Laverne and Shirly". Now he had a cool nickname: "The Big Ragu". There's lots of other spaghetti sauces out there. Maybe I could be called, "The Big Paul Newman's".

Dang. I'm hungry. Hope you're having a good day.

...believe it or not, mike/mikey/mikeylikesit!/anonymike, "joy" really IS my middle name, though unfortunately, it did not turn out to be prophetic!
